Special Events Details

Have a birthday party, bridal shower, wedding reception, retirement ceremony, or other special event? Celebrations are better at The Vasquez and we absolutely love them!! From experience, we have come to learn that every event is unique.  Several factors come into play that determine how we can best serve you and your group and make your event one to remember. Some of those things are the day and times your event will be taking place, whether your group will be ordering off the menu, catering their own foods, and whether the restaurant will remain open to the public or if you want the place to yourself. Since we are a restaurant first, consideration must be given to our loyal guests while simultaneously offering a beautiful space for special events reservations. Things to know about us: • Our restaurant has 14 tables and seats 56 guests. • We do not have public internet access. • We offer whole space private reservations, shared space reservations, with or without our food, Tuesdays-Saturdays during normal business hours. • Reservations are set in specific time blocks. Please see the cost charts below for a breakdown of times and associated costs. • In a shared space reservation, we do not move tables around other than sliding a 4-top and/or a 2-top next to another 4-top. This means a party greater than 10 persons will not be seated at the same table. This is because the fire code requires the aisle to be clear. • We can accommodate up to 24 persons, including seated children. We have two highchairs that can extend guest count to 26. • In a private reservation, tables can be moved as needed to accommodate your needs. • We can accommodate up to 56 persons, including seated children. We have two highchairs that can extend guest count to 58. • We offer two food packages to choose from; all guests receive the same plate: • Appetizer of your choice for each table • Three cheese enchilada plate (includes refried beans and Spanish rice), no onions • Jesus plate (two cheese enchiladas without onions and two crispy beef tacos, refried beans and Spanish rice) • Sweet, unsweet, or half and half tea We are a BYOB restaurant. You are responsible for any glassware, bottle openers, ice buckets, etc. (we have the ice 😊) We do not permit kegs or margarita machines due to the inevitable wet mess that can damage our floors. Beverage coolers are welcome; we have floor mats to place them on. ​If additional tables will be needed for gifts, cakes, beverages, etc., be sure to include this in your request. Note that tables needed for these items are tables unavailable for guests. ​ Permitted decorations are balloons (you may tie to chairs), standing backdrops, tablecloths, and centerpieces. Our walls are textured so tape does not stick; we do not permit thumbtacks for wall hangings. While we currently do not sell adult beverages, you are welcome to bring yours, we can even arrange for bartender service of your alcohol or other unique needs such as decorations, entertainment, etcetera. Please be sure to include contact name and number as well as all necessary information per the cost charts below. One of the owners will respond to your inquiry as quickly as possible; please give us at least 3 working days.

Note that service may be a bit slower during our peak hours of 11:30-1:30 and 6:00-8:00 as we will need to work in the non-party tables, which includes takeout orders.

Note that our takeout business will remain active; however, guest transactions will be modified so as not to disturb your special event.

Reserved tables will be held up to 15 minutes past scheduled start time. If at that point the point-of-contact has not yet arrived or contacted us, the deposit and reservations are forfeited, and the space will be released for public use.
